Show Fourteen Blog
Our blogger has got some insider access to The Hollyoaks Music Show with Matalan.co.uk and after each show they'll bring you all the latest backstage goss and news.

Ahh the Sugababes…remember my blog on Parade? Well you can substitute a lot of the cooing from that particular blog for this one.
I had the pleasure of talking to the Sugababes while they were getting ready and after a lot of flustered stuttering we managed to get a pretty good interview with the girls whereby Heidi revealed she was once nearly a Hollyoaks babe as opposed to a Suga one.
“I was saying to the girls I actually had an audition for Hollyoaks and my audition was here so it was weird coming in here. I didn’t get the part but when I got into the Sugababes they contacted me for another part. I had to say no I’m in the band now.”
This is a shame; can’t we cast the whole of the Sugababes in Hollyoaks like the Daytona Lights? Amelle for one would be certainly up for this, she was running round the set, snapping photos and acting like a giddy competition winner at every site of any Hollyoaks paraphernalia.
As for their performance of their new single Freedom outside Cinergy, well what can we say? Perhaps that if Amelle had of been sporting that hosiery during my interview I’d have probably struggled with my flustered stutter a lot more…
After the Sugababes blew everybody off set their was little chance to take a breath before another blistering performance this time in the shape of Loick Essien and Tanya Lacey with their hit How We Roll.
The Harrow born singer is making quite the name for himself in a particularly crowded scene after appearing on Chipmunk’s Beast. Loick now has plenty of other top names vying to collaborate with him. His debut album should be along shortly and if this performance is anything to go by we’ve got plenty to be excited about…
