Interviews: Wretch 32
Wretch 32 is quite an imposing figure, standing at about 6'4 and looking quite mean and moody he appeared quite intimidating from afar. Up close and personal that couldn't be further from the truth as we found Wretch in an amiable and excited mood.

Ha ha you know what man he’s cool, I’ve been doing a couple of shows with him lately, he mentioned he’d been here and it was a laugh so I couldn’t wait to get here.
What do the three and the two mean in your name?
Yeah man, they’re my lucky numbers, it’s like Wretch 32 bars, or 3 2 to speak (free to speak), 3 2 rap (free to rap), 32 to do as I please (free to do as I please), it’s a little play on words with numbers.
Are you looking forward to the festivals this year?
I actually can’t wait, last year I was watching a few of them, Chipmunk brought me to a couple to do one verse but now this time round it’s my own set and I’m feeling the progression I can’t wait to show people what Wretch 32 is about.
Will you be checking any other acts out?
100% I’m the nosiest artist ever, I will be watching everyone’s performances and taking something from that, I think there is something to be learnt from everyone, even the worst shows.
You’ve never been on Jeremy Kyle according to your song, but now you’ve been on Hollyoaks how does that feel?
Haha, I love it man it’s a great place to be, I want them to write me in with some of the girls like Bianca, I got to arm wrestle her which wasn’t the most unpleasant thing I’ve ever done…
