When you've got punk legend Pete Shelley from The Buzzcocks (who, pop trivia fans, recorded one of the first punk records) hailing you as his "new favourite band", you know you're onto a winner. This is exactly what Hollie-Jay Bowes (Michaela McQueen) will be hoping happens as she mentors Southend-on-Sea's finest, Redtrack.

Redtrack, though fresh out the blocks, have already recorded their debut album, been heralded by The Sunday Mail as "ones to watch" and received the demo of the week accolade by indie-uber lord, BBC 6 music and Radio One DJ, Steve Lamacq.

Racking up support with The Maccabees and even surviving a meat cleaver attack, Redtrack certainly have the credentials to appear on Hollyoaks, but what do you think?
