Yes, yes, Victoria Hesketh, the woman who surely is sick of such boots orientated jokes, has come on leaps and bounds since she gave her indie-electro band Dead Disco the… boot… back in 2008. Her solo talent came to the fore after a series of shake your boot-y synth-pop covers uploaded to YouTube garnered thousands of admirers.

It wasn’t long before Little Boots topped the BBC ‘Sound of…’ predictions list for 2009. And then came the top 20 hits and the top ten album. With all this success let’s hope Victoria doesn’t become too big for her little boots.
