Character: Zoë Carpenter

Dance in Winyates, after graduating Zoë worked as a professional dancer and singer. Hollyoaks is Zoë’s first TV role. In her spare time Zoë likes to see new places, read, watch films and enjoys going to the theatre. She adores her job on set, however, when she gets home from work there’s nothing she loves better than to chill out in her jeans!

Zoë has sadly announced her decision to leave Hollyoaks, I’ve had a fantastic time in the show and have worked with some amazing people! I’m very sad to leave but feel that it’s time to try new things”.

What one thing in your wardrobe can’t you live without?

My leather jacket. I love it. I wear with everything.

Do you do vintage?

I would if I could be bothered to search for it. If someone found some vintage for me I’d wear it, but I’m not very good at trawling though things.

What’s your fallback first date outfit?

Probably a pretty and feminine dress that I’ve got. It’s smart casual and floral, but says, “Yeah, I’m girly”.

What is your signature colour?

Blue. I wear it lots. Navy blue. I like vibrant-y ocean colours.

Rock chick or glamour queen?

Rock chick. Occasionally I do glamour, but I’m not very good at it. I preferred dishevelled because it’s easier.

Festival fun or beachside bliss?

It depends what time of year it is. I’m going to say beachside bliss.

Do you have a LBD?

I do. It’s quite tight!

Who is the best dressed in Hollyoaks – on and off screen?

Nancy on screen and Lena Kaur (Leila Roy) off screen.

What’s the one thing that make you feel super sexy?

High heels.

How many pairs of shoes do you have?

I’ve just taken a massive bag of old shoes to a charity shop – 25 pairs of shoes! I didn’t even know I had that many to chuck out, but there were some really hideous things I needed to rid from my wardrobe. I reckon I’ve still probably got 40 pairs, but yet a wear the same pair of brown skanky boots every day.
